Our Children’s Summer Camp involves daily classes in ballet and creative dance. This fun week of expressive movement encourages children to use their imagination to create an original dance.
The programme provides:
- An opportunity to share a creative experience with new friends
- Access to highly experienced dance teachers in a professional learning environment
- Themed classes in different dance styles
Content
Each day, Monday to Friday, the children participate in a 45-minute ballet class, a 45-minute creative dance class in their age groups: 4-5 years, 6-7 years.
This is a drop-off activity and children are chaperoned at all times.
Over the course of the week the children will create two dances in their groups, with their ballet and creative dance teachers. Classes will be based around a theme designed to ignite their imaginations.
In ballet, the children will be introduced to ballet steps and classical mime appropriate to their age, with pianist accompaniment.
On Friday, we will provide a relaxed sharing opportunity for family and friends to enjoy.
