Paul Doyle

RAD Studies Manager & Lecturer in Dance Education

A graduate of Inchicore College of Further Education (Dublin), Paul’s teaching background includes many years as a freelance dance teacher and running his own school in his native Ireland. Paul was a sessional tutor on the RAD-validated distance learning programmes of study from 2009 – 2017. In 2013, he was appointed to the Royal Academy of Dance’s Panel of Examiners. Paul has experience in ballet, modern theatre, musical theatre, jazz and contemporary dance.

  • DDE (Modern Theatre and Imperial Ballet) RAD Teaching Certificate

Research interests and projects

Paul has a keen interest in Dance Science and safe practice.

Mental Practice as a means of performance improvement is an area of his research interest. Furthermore Paul is interested in performance psychology, and applying research to dancers in the studio is also a passion of his.
