RAD Teaching Qualifications

Please select which one of the following makes you eligible for Registered Teachers Status*
*These are the four non-RAD awarding societies that we are currently accepting regulated Level 4 or above Dance Teaching Qualifications from, or level 5 or above for BBO. For those joining via the Awarding Societies Route there will be a joining fee of $300 (NZD). This fee covers the additional administration required for new teachers who have not come through the RAD qualification route. The joining fee applies to your first year only.
Examples of proof could include a copy of your qualification certificate. Once your file has been uploaded it will show the file name followed by 100% to confirm it has been added successfully. The red X allows you to remove a file you have uploaded.

Your CV can include details on your education and qualifications, work history, skills and any other experience, with dates specific to each point.
As a dance teacher, you have duty of care toward the children and adults at risk who attend your classes or the premises in which you operate your business. It is your personal responsibility to ensure you meet the RAD safeguarding requirements as a professional member of the RAD; we will support you to meet these requirements. Once you become a RAD Registered Teacher, your details will be automatically added to our online Register of Teachers, if you are not happy about this you can email membership@rad.org.nz. You can change your preferences at any time in the RAD Members’ Area.
